TAMPA — Florida Dairy Farmers have brought their "From The Farm To The Fridge" exhibit to MOSI, providing guests an opportunity to milk a life-sized mechanical cow while learning more about the true source of the calcium-enriched beverage milk. The exhibit details the various steps of the milking process in a colorful and educational way and also includes various other features such as cow feed samples and a video filmed at a real Florida dairy farm.

TAMPA — The Museum of Science & Industry has been awarded a $149,736 grant from the federal government’s Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The grant will support the completion of phase II of The Amazing You exhibition set to open in late 2009.

TAMPA — On Aug. 29, MOSI will open The Dark Knight on the IMAX Dome Theatre’s 5-story dome-shaped screen! Day and midnight shows will be held on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 29-30.
