The Fine Print – Classifieds
 
General
Publisher reserves the right to refuse any advertising for any reason. Publisher may change text in any advertisement that contains language that violates Florida State Law.
 
Every classified ad will appear online at www.CnewsPubs.com and in print in all weekly editions of Community News Publications: The Laker in Pasco County, Florida and The News, Carrollwood Community News, The Beacon and Waterfront Weekly in Hillsborough County, Florida. Total print circulation is 125,000 homes and businesses.
 
Ads are posted online within 24 hours after review and payment. Online ads remain posted until the next print publication date or through the scheduled and paid agreement. Ads submitted by Friday 12 p.m. will publish in the following Wednesday papers. Ads submitted by Tuesday 3 p.m. will publish in Friday papers.
 
The same ad text will publish both in print and online. Only the printed ad will include pictures, graphics and boxes.
 
Pre-Payment Required
All classified ads entered online require pre-payment. Payment can be made online by credit card: Visa, Master Card, Discovery or American Express. Cash and checks must be received by the print deadline for ads to be posted online and published in print.
 
To pay by “check by phone” or cash:
  1. Call 813-909-2800 Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ask for Classifieds.
  2. Fax your ad text and check to 813-909-7391. Price can be found by entering your ad online. No tax applies. Make checks payable to Community News Publications. Checks are processed as ACH debit and post to your checking account within two business days.
  3. Email your ad text to classifieds@cnewspubs.com. Compose your ad online and then cut and paste the text into an email message. Price can be found by entering your ad online. No tax is charged for classified ads. Include in your email the following information: Bank name, bank routing number, name(s) on the account and account number. If you do not want to include your checking account information in an email, call our Classifieds Department during regular business hours.
  4. Bring cash to our office: 1930 Land O’Lakes Blvd., Lutz, Fla. 33549. We’re located in the Harbour Village Shopping Center on US Hwy. 41 just south of St. Rd 54 in Pasco County.
 
Businesses requesting credit terms must make the request to our Classified Sales Manager. Call 813-909-2800 and ask for the Classified Manager.
 
Free Private Party Ad Up to $1000 in Value
Free Garage & Yard Sale Ads
Limited to household items, garage sales, yard sales, lost & found and free pets. Up to 3 lines free. Items for sale must include prices. No limit – place as many free ads as you want each week. Free ads run one week only. To renew, ads must be entered online each week. If our program of unlimited free private party ads is abused by a reader, the publisher reserves the right to limit the number of free ads.
 
Any person who advertises the same type of household items three times or more will be considered a business and be charged our commercial rate.
 
Big Wheel Deal
Ad runs publish in print and online until your vehicle or boat sells. Vintage show vehicles are limited to 90 days of continuous publication.
 
Corrections
It is the advertiser’s responsibility to check his/her ad the first day it publishes online and in print. Errors must be reported before the next print deadline for changes to be made. Advertisers may call, fax or email changes and corrections.
 
Credit for the first day the ad appears in print will be issued for ads with errors that were serviced by our sales staff. No credit of any kind will be given for online ads. Credit will be issued on a customer’s account to be used for future ads. No cash refunds.
 
Community News Publications does not assume responsibility for any expenses for any reason beyond the cost of an ad.
 
Cancellations
Cancellations of print ads are only be accepted prior to print deadlines. Advertisers may call, fax or email changes and corrections. Credit will be issued on a customer’s account to be used for future ads. No cash refunds.
 
Advertiser’s Responsibility
In consideration of the publisher’s acceptance of an advertisement for publication, the agency and/or the advertiser placing the ad will indemnify and save the publisher harmless from and against any loss or expense resulting from claims and suits for defamation, liable, violation of privacy, plagiarism and copyright infringement.
