People have been asking me to write this article for years. Even before the current economic downturn, this was a subject near and dear to the hearts of many employees who we come into contact with on a daily basis. These workers are suffering from the stumbling economy to a greater extent than everyone else (except those who have no jobs at all). And they’ve frequently asked me to address this issue.

Hostetler to speak to TT Preservation: The Temple Terrace Preservation Society will hold a general membership meeting Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Temple Terrace Community Church Parish Hall, 210 Inverness Ave. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

I am sure that the White House, US Congress and the State Legislatures are just burning the midnight oil trying to figure out what to do about the November elections and this darn thing called escalating gas and diesel fuel costs.
