SAN ANTONIO — Approximately 350 associates, family members, friends and patients turned out Sunday, Nov. 16, to wish Dr. Sam G. Bala a happy retirement.

ZEPHYRHILLS — The Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Chorale, made up of Hospital employees and citizens of the Pasco County community, will debut at a concert open and free to the public at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the East Pasco Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 7333 Dairy Road, Zephyrhills. The concert will also include guest artists from the Florida Symphony Orchestra and the East Pasco Adventist Academy Handbell Choir.

NEW PORT RICHEY — Betty Sizemore McDougall, 74, knew all too well the pain and tragedy that surrounds those afflicted with heart disease prior to her own scare in April of this year when she suffered a heart attack while being treated at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson for what she had mentally “dubbed” allergies and old age.

ZEPHYRHILLS — Florida Cancer Institute – New Hope held its annual Breast Cancer Survivor Social on Thursday, Oct. 16 at its center at 38010 Medical Center Avenue, Zephyrhills.
