LUTZ — A Lutz man was arrested on forgery-related warrants from Pasco County.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anthony C. Davis, 26, of 18914 Spring Hollow Dr., on Aug. 21. He was released from the county jail on $10,000 bond.

EHREN CUTOFF – A Land O’ Lakes resident was evacuated from a home fire in a residence near Ehren Cutoff and Jordan Road sometime Wednesday. Several Pasco Fire Rescue units responded to the scene. The resident was evacuated by Bayflite helicopter for hospitalization. A dog and a cat did not survive the fire, according to authorities, who said the smoky incident may have started near a chair with a cigarette. Pasco Fire Rescue staff donned masks and tanks because of the smoke.

ODESSA — An Odessa man was arrested, accused of keeping a vehicle for drug use and having marijuana to sell.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ricardo Miguel Palles, 28, of 15712 Indian Queen Dr., on Aug. 21. He was released from the county jail on $5,000 bond.

LAND O’ LAKES — A Land O’ Lakes man was arrested, accused of grand theft auto, after admitting he sold two stolen trucks to a salvage yard.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Richard Keene, 20, of 4116 Primavera Dr., Aug. 20. He was held in the Land O’ Lakes jail on $5,000 bond.

In a Land O’ Lakes case, it resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old teen accused of two counts of auto burglary.
